The Postpartum Doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to new mothers and their families during the crucial postpartum period. This time can be joyful and overwhelming, and having the right support is key to a smooth and healthy transition into parenthood.
Scope of Our Postpartum Doula Service:

Emotional Support: The early days of parenthood can bring a rollercoaster of emotions. Our doulas provide a non-judgmental, empathetic space for mothers to express their feelings, helping them manage stress and overcome any feelings of isolation. This emotional support plays a significant role in preventing postpartum depression.

Newborn Care Assistance: Teaching parents newborn care, sharing tips on diapering, feeding (whether breastfeeding or bottle-feeding), and soothing techniques. Ensuring parents in handling their newborn confidently.

Partner & Family Support: The transition to parenthood is not only about the mother; it's about the whole family. We help integrate partners and siblings into the newborn care routine, fostering family bonding and ensuring everyone feels supported.

Postpartum Recovery Support: Provide guidance on postpartum recovery, from managing physical recovery after birth to offering advice on self-care practices and emotional well-being.

Physical session can be done at our office or at the comfort of your home.
Housecall service will incur a transport charge $35 per trip.
