When to use the nipple ruler?
- in your 3rd trimester, to know what may or may not suit you
- just after birth, nipple size may change after birth, so now is the BEST time to measure and get what fits you
- every month to keep your flange size up-to-date
How to use the nipple ruler?
- measure the nipple only
- ensure the fit is just nice with minimal allowance
- add 2-3mm from the measured size
Nipple size may change (increase and/or decrease) during the course of breastfeeding.
